Working Safely On-Site Eugene Foley Construction Ltd. has a strict safety policy to manage the health safety and welfare of its employees, sub-contractors, visitors and any other person that may be affected by our day to day construction and renovation project sites.
The Company operates a risk management system at all sites that ensures that all work we carry out is done so in compliance with the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 along with all the associated regulations, codes and standards that apply to our work activities.
During and after every building project we consult with our appointed Health & Safety officer and all staff members in a management, lead consultancy period, which ensures we have the very best safety policies and procedures in place for all concerned, this also ensures that Health & Safety remains a significant work factor for all our staff and sub-contractors.
As part of this consulting process, we identify and ensure that all staff have the relevant training in their respective fields and equipment to ensure that they are able to carry out their work activities in a safe manner, helping to keep our sites an accident free zone.
We operate an extensive tools and machinery maintenance programme that allows us to identify potential wear to equipment before it happens making sure it is serviced or replaced in a prompt manner by a relevant qualified maintenance professional.
