This project consisted of the following work: Refurbishment works to include non-structural demolition. Modification of door opes. Removal of existing and installation of new suspended ceiling. Upgrade of emergency lighting and detection systems. Upgrade of existing services, removal of old fittings and installation of new lighting, removal and installation of flooring, ironmongery and all associated works. Flooring, decorating, mechanical/ electrical installation and fire proofing. New fitted joinery, new bespoke reception area constructed on site by our own tradesmen. We have completed significant renovation works on live builds (still in everyday use by patients and staff) in hospital wards, care centres and nursing homes. These projects included upgrades to mechanical, electrical and facilities such as toilets, showers, flower coverings and internal decorations along with advanced communication and custom bespoke administration/reception areas.

All our projects are completed to a strict quality managed schedule, which is updated and reviewed with clients and other contractors during the build, ensuring a minimum amount of disruption and downtime possible to both staff and patients.

 We also build new custom facilities for the health care sector, these projects are constructed from the ground up and include not just the building, but also the full array of mechanical, electrical, communication and interior fit out to our clients specification and completed to the exceptionally high standards that we set for all our building projects. This project includes work to alter the internal configuration of the building, fire upgrade works to the attic space, additional steel members at ceiling level to accommodate the proposed use, and alterations to the Mechanical and Electrical systems throughout. No external extensions or works (apart from minor window and doors works) were proposed as part of the works. The construction works took place within an existing building within the Hospital grounds. The building was currently in use and were presented as a “live” building to the Contractor. The other buildings of the Hospital remained in operation during the construction project.
Corridor on CDSU ward following refurbishments work. The existing wards of St. Lukes Hospital were refurbished including two wings, which consist of three storeys in each wing. This project consisted of 6 phases, delivering each completed ward with each phase. The project consisted of the refurbishment of the wards particularly, the mechanical and electrical components in the wards, upgrading finishes and facilities including toilets, showers, floor coverings and internal decorations. Eugene Foley was the Project Manager for the duration of the works. He worked closely with the Client, managing and completing each phase of the project.
